Every month (or so…), I share the articles and sites that I found most interesting. Here’s what caught my attention in November and December: film theory, fandom, and representation in fiction.
The season looks different this year, and I know it’s going to be difficult for some of you. Whatever this time of year means to you, however it’s changed, I hope you’re able to find some joy—and a little bit of peace—in it.
Rather than focus on everything that didn’t happen this year, I’m going to focus on what did: the things that brought me joy in 2020. The things I want to carry into 2021 and beyond. That one (1) goal I definitely achieved.
It’s been an eventful couple of weeks. I’ve been: looking | wrapping | getting | accepting | figuring | waking | waiting | making | watching | listening
I’m going to keep this short. I’ve got a bigger end-of-year thing coming later in the month, and really… November wasn’t much different from any other month this year. I had some good writing days. I edited some photos. Not as many as I wanted, but more than I thought I might.
It wasn’t ideal, but it was fine.
