It’s been ages since I’ve been this happy with a group of photos.
The subjects are still pretty mundane (flowers! ducklings!) and I still kind of feel like there’s not much going on, but I like these photos.
I’m not gonna lie: in this case, a lot of that is because of the camera. I’m not a fan of obsessing over equipment, but I just can’t get the sharpness or depth of field with my phone that I can with a DSLR. (Or as close to those ducklings without freaking out their mum. Even if I was cursing the fact that I wasn’t carrying a longer lens that day.)
