Ok. Yeah.
The last ten days of photos… aren’t great. They’re not awful, I don’t actively hate any of them, but… most of them are ok at best. I only genuinely like two of these photos.
Over the last week or so, I haven’t been paying as much attention to photography as I’d like—I’m relying on my phone, and still taking photos just to check it off the to-do list, rather than putting any kind of effort in.

It’s not just photography: I was slacking off in my writing last week, too. I blamed that on being in a weird transitional stage between projects, and not having clear deadlines, but now I’m realizing that it’s not slacking off. I’m in a bit of a creative lull—not my usual three-month low, but… a dip.
I can deal with a lull—especially a minor one. Knowing that that’s where I am, I can pull myself out of it.
Here’s to a new week.
(Project366 runs from 23 January 2019 through 23 January 2020. I’ll posting to Instagram daily, and rounding up the photos here every ten days.)

Heh – I read this post and started smiling. My problem hasn’t so much been writing (although I went for an entire week without a post) – it’s been reading and commenting. For the last several hours I’ve been reading, liking, commenting, and so on – slowly digging my way out of a hell of my own doing.
Ugh, yeah, I’ve done that, too. You’re more dedicated than I am; I usually just go the inbox zero route when I do that – if it’s older than two or three days, I mentally mark it as read and move on. It gets too overwhelming, otherwise.
I’ve done that before too. It’s all good 🙂
