Project366: #51-60

Photography

So, after a very good batch of photos, the last ten days have been… pretty average. There’s one or two that I’m very happy with, and a couple that I’m very much not happy with.

But that’s part of the exercise: learning to be ok with the not-great days, and moving on regardless.

(Project366 runs from 23 January 2019 through 23 January 2020. I’ll posting to Instagram daily, and rounding up the photos here every ten days.)

  1. I’ve been enjoying this project so much, Reghan! Thank you sharing your craft. I also love reading what you wrote, “learning to be ok with the not-great days, and moving on regardless”, this is a concept practiced on Japanese Psychology. It is known as Arugamama.

I stand firmly by that concept.

    Have an awesome weekend.

    1. I haven’t heard that term before! A writer friend and I have discussed the concept a lot (it’s something we both strive for, but struggle with consistently achieving), and I’m delighted to know that there’s an actual word for it. Thank you so much for bringing it to my attention!
